To be eligible to join a fraternity or sorority at Penn State you must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

• Earned 14 credit hours at Penn State OR 27 transfer credits (AP and dual enrollment DO NOT APPLY) OR be an Adult Learner 

• Have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative Penn State GPA 

• Be enrolled at the University Park campus 

• Not be subject to any active conduct violations or sanctions

• Recruitment & intake typically start within the first few weeks of each semester.

• Each chapter has its own individual recruitment process.

• To find out if the chapter you're interested in is recruiting, contact them directly or check their social media accounts for details about information sessions.

1. Register for MGC recruitment in Campus Director

2. Attend information sessions for chapters that you are interested in.

3. Complete the OFSL Information Session and Terms & Conditions on the OFSL Pre-Membership Experience Course in Canvas

4. Receive eligibility confirmation from OFSL.

5. If you receive a bid, accept it formally in Campus Director.

6. Confirm your participation through the Intake Participation Confirmation Form in OrgCentral at least 48 hours before beginning intake/new member activities.
